Night 1
We catch the 10:00pm night train to Lao Cai, enjoying a bed in soft sleeper class with air-con.

Day 1
The bus ride to Sapa offers glimpses of the stunning vistas and impressive rice terraces in this region. We check into the hotel and enjoy a lunch of local Vietnamese food. After lunch, we start trekking for three hours to Cat Cat waterfall to visit the Black H’Mong minority. We then return to Sapa for dinner and overnight.

Day 2
In the morning we trek for five hours down the valley along local trails and across rice paddies to visit Black H’Mong, Dzay and Red Dzao minority with a picnic lunch along the way. We then return to Lao Cai to catch the night train back to Hanoi where the trip ends.
