Day 1: To Mai Chau
Depart Hanoi for Mai Chau and have lunch in a local stilt house. Drive to the picturesque Ma River for a short rowboat ride. Get off the boat and trek through Muong Hill Tribe villages. Return to Thai Ethnic village in Mai Chau for dinner and homestay.

Day 2: Trekking around Mai Chau
Enjoy breakfast in the stilt house then start trekking for several hours around the beautiful Mai Chau valley to visit Muong and Thai minority villages. Arrive back to the homestay for a lunch prepared by our Thai hosts. Enjoy the stunning scenery over mountain passes as we transfer to Ninh Binh. Overnight in Hotel.

Day 3: Hoa Lu
After breakfast we are off to visit Kenh Ga for a boat trip on a river that winds its way through verdant rice paddies, visit a local minority village and explore an expansive cave. After a picnic lunch, transfer to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, for a visit to the King Le Temple. We return to Hanoi by bus.
