Day
1: Hanoi Highlights and Water Puppets
After transferring to the hotel, we take
a tour of Hanoi’s highlights, including
the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, the One Pillar
Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. In
the evening we enjoy the famous water puppet
show, an art form unique to Vietnam. Dinner
and overnight in Hanoi.
Day
2: Halong Bay Experience
Today, we drive east to majestic Halong
Bay, one of nature’s wonders of the
world. We take a boat cruise around the
bay, exploring caves and beaches and enjoying
a lunch of fresh seafood. We return to Hanoi
for dinner and overnight.
Day
3: The Perfume Pagoda The Perfume Pagoda is a popular place of
pilgrimage for Hanoi residents and we make a trip
here by road and boat. The limestone cliffs here
are riddled with pagodas and shrines and offer
a fascinating glimpse into religious life in Vietnam.

Day
4: Hoa Lu and Tam Coc
Today we travel to “Halong Bay on the rice
paddies” or the limestone mountains of Tam
Coc, enjoying a boat trip through caves. We also
visit the ancient Vietnamese capital of Hoa Lu
with its historic temples. We return to Hanoi
for dinner.
Day
5: Hanoi's Old Quarter and Shopping
We leave some time for shopping in the Old Quarter
of Hanoi before transferring to the airport.
